bodywork + classes

My sessions blend Tui Na and Acupressure to address the whole person. I work with anyone seeking wellness from elderly to athletes to cancer patients and enjoy helping people find more space, come into alignment, and realize their innate healing capacity. People seek me out for my compassionate, grounded presence.

I currently offer qigong and acupressure classes to the public at Berkeley Community Acupuncture clinic and Berkeley Adult School. These classes are intended to support a daily practice of self-care.

Tui Na, meaning "push pull," utilizes various hand techniques and rhythmic movement to open, move, and stretch the body. It can be more active or passive to remove blockages and restore harmony. Tui Na is done on a table over loose-fitting, comfortable clothes.

Acupressure is the practice of using finger pressure to work with points, gathering places of energy along the meridians, to bring balance to the body. It is applied over loose-fitting, comfortable clothes.
